Why Did I Receive This Migration Email?
These emails are typically sent to donors who previously had a recurring gift set up through their organization’s previous giving platform.
- 📧 Subject: Take Action Today: Maintain Your Recurring Giving to <Nonprofit>!
- 🖥️ Note: Your recurring gift will not be moved to Overflow unless you choose to complete the transfer by using the custom link in the email.
What’s Included in the Email?
Here's what you'll find:
- “Transfer My Recurring Gift to Overflow” Button: This button makes it easy to move your recurring gift to Overflow. When you click it, you’ll be taken to your nonprofit’s giving page where your gift details (such as donation amount, frequency, and designation) are already filled in.
- 💳 You will then be prompted to add your preferred payment method.
- 🛡️ For security reasons, saved payment methods from the previous platform are not transferred.
- Steps to Cancel Your Previous Recurring Gift
- 💡 To help make sure you’re not charged twice, the email also includes these steps to cancel your recurring gift through your nonprofit’s previous giving platform.
- 📋 Please note that you’ll need to cancel it directly through that platform unless your nonprofit has shared a different process.
What If I Didn’t Receive the Email?
No worries! There are a few reasons why you might not have received the email:
- ⛔️ Your recurring gift may not have been active when your nonprofit shared their list of recurring donors.
- ⛔️ You might have used a different email address for past donations, so the email was sent there instead.
If you share the name of the organization you're supporting, we’d be happy to check on our end and resend the email if needed. 👍🏽

I Already Set Up My Recurring Gift. Why Am I Still Receiving This Email?
If you set up your recurring gift using a method other than the link in your most recent email, our system might not recognize it as part of your previous recurring donation. Just reach out to our Support team, and we’ll remove you from your church’s mailing list! ✅
I’m No Longer Affiliated With This Organization. How Can I Stop Receiving Emails?
No problem! Our Support team can remove you from your nonprofit’s mailing list, so you won’t receive any more reminders about transitioning your donation to Overflow. Just reach out, and we’ll take care of it for you! 👌🏽
